Stylish 2 Bedroom Flat

Style over substance Positive: Really responsive and helpful host messaged back and brought us oven gloves and the towels which was appreciated. Negative: The flat has been nicely decorated with a helpful and responsive host but there was a feeling everywhere of cheapness and cutting corners. There was a loose floor divider my 5 year old tripped over. The mattress was not too comfortable, the nylon bedding felt hot in the warm temperatures. The toilet seats didn't fit properly and moved when you sat on them. There was no coffee machine. The chairs were uncomfortable. It all photographed well but I just can't recommend spending time there. We could hear a lot of sound on the ceiling from upstairs. The worst things for us were the cigarette smoke coming into our bathroom from the vent. It was horrible. And access was very complicated with a series of lock boxes. And on one night someone rang our doorbell at 2.30am trying to access the block and woke us all up, children included. It was pretty awful to be honest. We decided to cut our losses and cut our trip short and we left a day early. We are now very glad to be home.

Alive and Comfortable! Positive: I loved the lay out and the equipment. The bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The home felt homely and had a welcoming atmosphere. Negative: I didn’t like the taps. They were running cloudy water.
