Cotswolds Cottage with Hot tub

Very lovely cottage Positive: Very comfortable, lovely hot tub, quiet private location. Negative: Minor essentials lacking, such as bin in bathroom and clothes drying rack.

Comfortable for 1 night. Positive: The property itself from the outside and inside is a lovely cosy cottage. The hot tub is a lovely touch, and we enjoyed relaxing in there throughout the evening. Evening lights outside were lovely. Good location for what we needed and was easy to find. Lovely views and easy parking. Overall a nice stay, we were able to overcome the issues we found without being in touch with the owner, however would only recommend for short 1-2 night stays. Negative: Points for improvement: The percular outside covering the hot tub requires improvement, parts of the roof were broken and falling off - if it was raining it would have made it impossible to use the hot tub. The lamps in the dining room didnt work, resulting in the room being dark and required the movement of the living room lamp to the dining room. The outside table and chairs need replacing (small metal set) as the wood on the table is broken and rotting, causing it to be unsafe to place drinks on. We had to empty the dishwasher draw on our arrival which was dissapointing for somewhere that you have paid a considerable amount of money for 1 night. The bedding in the main bedroom was stained in parts which unfortunately is more obvious on white bedding. There is minimal cooking equipment and plates/bowls, it is ok for 1-2 nights however longer stays I suspect would struggle. Check out is early at 10am, 11am would be more suitable to most people.
